Skyrim is filled with plenty of amazing locations that make for amazing sightseeing, albeit a little more dangerous than your typical trip to Cyrodiil! One of the most awe-inspiring locations is the Throat of the World! It is the highest mountain in Tamriel. From the top, you can see nearly the entire province, from the snowy tundras around Whiterun, to the snowy ice peaks near Winterhold. The town of Solitude is another impressive city to visit. Ancient and the current point of power for the Empire in Skyrim, it is perched on a massive natural arch, offering incredible views of the Sea of Ghosts and the forests below. If you hear to the Rift, the warm autumn colors of the trees and the reflections in Lake Honrich make it one of the most scenic regions in the game.
For those who enjoy a more mysterious or dramatic view, Blackreach is an amazing underground cavern. This vast cavern glows with blue and purple light from giant mushrooms and crystals, creating an otherworldly landscape. Aurora Borealis displays in the night sky across Skyrim also add to the wonder, especially when seen from high mountains or near ancient ruins. Whether its watching waterfalls at Riftens edges, standing at the Statue of Azura, or looking out over Whiterun from Dragonsreach, every region in Skyrim offers a unique and memorable view that captures the games wild and ancient beauty.
